The House Cup Reading Challenge Wrap Up

The House Cup Reading Challenge is over!

And I am pretty satisfied with my results! If you don’t know what the hell I am on about, you should read my challenge announcement post, but basically, it’s a reading challenge that ran through October and November, inspired by Harry Potter. It was created by Kelsey @ Kelsey’s Cluttered Bookshelf, Lauren @ Live, Love, Read , Erica @ Escape Under the Cover and Daisy @ Booksy Daisy. Thank you guys so much for organizing this!

Here are the challenges I managed to complete and the corresponding books:

First year: Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey (1 star) – My least favorite of any R.S. Grey books
20 points
Second year: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (3.5 stars) – Whole review HERE
20 points
Third year: Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren (2 stars) – these books are kind of trashy, but they get me out of reading slumps
20 points
Fourth year: Artemis by Andy Weir (3 stars) – Whole review HERE
20 points
Fifth year: Hunger by Roxane Gay (5 stars) – Whole review HERE, but BRILLIANT
20 points
Sixth year: Frida Kahlo: A Biography by Maria Hesse (5 stars) – THE most gorgeous illustrations
20 points
Seventh year: The Fortunate Ones by R.S. Grey (3 stars) – Not her greatest in my opinion
20 points
Fantastic Beasts (read a spin off) : I read two novellas, Beautiful Beloved and Beautiful Beggining by Christina Lauren, which are sort of spin offs, but since they are novellas, I am counting them as one (2 stars)
10 points
Death Eather (read a book from a villian’s POV) : I read Death Note! It’s super good (4 stars)
Social Media Bonus: 6 points

Which makes a grand total of…

I am so glad I decided to participate in this challenge. It made me read more, and I had a lot of fun doing it! The books I read were okayish, but I enjoyed reading them for the most part!

Let me know in the comments if you participated and how your reading went!
