Another month, another favorites post.
Let me tell you – I am freaking out about time passing. We need to stop and take a second to reflect on the fact THAT JUNE IS ALREADY HERE and we’re halfway through 2018. What even. May is always a crazy month for me – school reaches peak activity, I have exams, things start to go hectic. I am really glad it’s over. And June is more of the same. So let’s stop complaining and shift gears to more exciting stuff – favorites of the month. Here we go!
I’ve only read Romance books this month and even those weren’t that spectacular. I am never really blown away by a romance novel (except The Hating Game). So I actually haven’t got a favorite book of the month which sucks but it is what it is. I did read 8 books, and only two weren’t Romance novels, and I hated those two. So a sucky reading month all in all.
Avengers: Infinity War, obviously. I am a huge fan of the MCU and I was so pumped for Infinity War. And it did not disappoint. I especially loved all of the scenes in Wakanda and I have a confession: I love Steve Rogers. I never cared for him before, but oh boy, I was LIVING for Captain America in this movie. I don’t want to talk about the ending because I am still not okay. But yeah, I really loved the movie a lot.
Favorite TV Show
People, Dear White People Vol. 2 dropped on Netflix and I completely lost it. I love that show and the second season blew me away and I loved it more than the first one. If you still haven’t caught up, please do, it’s so funny and clever and I just love all the characters a lot.
Music is consistently good. I loved Florence + The Machine’s new song, Hunger, A LOT. I just love everything Florence does. I also really loved Julia Michaels new song, Jump. It’s super vibey. Also Troye’s new song Bloom is super catchy. Charlie Puth’s Voicenotes is I think the album I listened to the most this month. As always, everything is in the playlist.
As for everyone else, they were brilliant as well:
- Malanie @ Malanie Loves Fiction chats about why book friendships are the best (and she’s completely right, they are)
- Rachel @ Pace, Amore, Libri talks about why she doesn’t DNF books
- Janel @ The Keeper of Pages reviews The Good Son
- Elise @ The Bookish Actress reviews MEM
- Lily @ Sprinkles of Dreams reviews The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue
- Jenna @ Bookmark Your Thoughts talks about her Bad Bookish Habits

Have you heard of a game called Psychonauts? It’s so weird but so much fun. It’s a platform game and it’s so great. I loved playing when I was younger so I decided to get it on Steam and chill out with it between studying sessions. And I think the sequel will be coming out in 2019!
So those are this month’s favorite things! Let me know about yours! I’d love to hear what you liked this past month!
