(Kinda Late) September 2018 Favorites

Last month’s favorite things.

I truly apologize for not posting this sooner, but life has been hectic. September was a month of studying on top of studying but now we are done, and I am excited to talk about the things that kept me sane during the hellfire of September – my favorites! So let’s go!

Favorite Book

This will come as no surprise to anyone, but book of the month for me is definitely Sadie. I listened to this on audio, and I can say to you that this is the only audiobook I have ever loved or even liked. I struggle a lot with audiobooks, but this one was perfect. There’s a podcast that is a big part of the book and it was so wonderful to listen to it come to life and it made the whole experience so much better. Moreover, the book is wonderfully written and Sadie is a really compelling main character, so I loved this a lot. Favorite Music

Okay, so this has been a good month for music and basically the only thing I had time for! I started relistening two albums and got reminded how much I loved them – Joyride by Tinashe and Damn. by Kendrick Lamar. Both of those albums are really amazing and I loved relistening to them. And a huge obsession of the month – Palo Santo by Years & Years. EVERY SONG ON IT IS AMAZING. Also, song of the month goes to This Feeling by The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini – such a bop!

Favorite Posts

September was an amazing month for me and for the blog – even though it was trash for life in general. So thanks again for reading! Favorite post of September is tied between my discussion on being an international blogger and my newest blogging tips on how to blog when you’re not reading. Thanks for all the love on those two.

Random Favorite

Ariel is one of my favorite booktubers and this video is just amazing. I love how different and unique her videos are and this one is no different. It’s an exploration of poetry on social media and it’s really thoughtful and there’s some amazing people in it. Highly recommend you grab a cup of coffee/tea and watch this one.
